Frequently asked questions

What we're asked most often. If your question isn't here, call us at 514 725-2525 — we answer ourselves.

Ordering

How late can I order for today?

Until 1 p.m., Monday to Saturday. The countdown at the top of the site shows how much time you have left. After that, delivery goes out the next day.

Can I choose the exact flowers?

Not stem by stem. We compose every morning with the day's arrivals, which is exactly what keeps things fresh. What we guarantee is the colour palette and the format. If you have a colour in mind, mention it in the order message.

Can I include a card?

Yes, at no charge. The "Card message" field appears on every product page. We write it by hand and it goes out with the flowers.

Can I order for a future date?

Yes. The calendar on the product page accepts any date up to a year out. It's even recommended for busy dates — Valentine's Day, Mother's Day.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Call us at 514 725-2525 as soon as possible. As long as the arrangement hasn't been made yet, anything is possible. Once it's composed, it can't be undone.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

Montreal, Laval, the South Shore, the North Shore and part of the Montérégie. The postal code checker on every product page gives you the answer and the rate in two seconds.

How much does delivery cost?

It depends on the address. On the island of Montréal it runs from $12 to $40 — $12 in the east, right near the shop. In Laval, $25 to $35. Off the island, up to $60. Enter your postal code on the product page for the exact amount.

When does the delivery arrive?

Sometime on the day you choose. We can't guarantee an exact time — the driver's route depends on the other deliveries that day. If timing is critical — a funeral home, a reception — call us and we'll work it out.

What if no one is there?

The driver leaves the arrangement somewhere sheltered and lets you know. If the building is locked, they bring the flowers back to the shop and we call you to arrange a second attempt.

Can I pick up my order myself?

Yes, and it's free. The shop is at 4355 Beaubien Est, in Rosemont. Choose pickup at checkout and we'll let you know when it's ready.

Payment

Is payment secure?

Yes. Payments go through Shopify, which processes the transaction directly. We never see your card number and it isn't stored on our site.

Can I pay in store?

Yes, if you're picking up your order. For delivery, payment is made online when you order.

Can I get an invoice for my business?

Yes. Give us the company name at checkout and we'll put it on the invoice. For recurring deliveries, we bill monthly.

Do you offer gift cards?

Call us at 514 725-2525 — we'll prepare one for you in store.

Keeping your flowers fresh

How long do cut flowers last?

Five to ten days depending on the variety. Roses, gerberas and chrysanthemums last a long time; peonies and tulips are more fleeting but change shape every day, which is part of their charm.

How do I make them last longer?

Three things help. Cut the stems at an angle, two centimetres, when you receive them. Change the water every two days rather than topping it up. And keep the bouquet away from direct sun, heat, and the fruit bowl — ripe fruit gives off a gas that makes flowers wilt.

Should I remove some leaves?

Yes, any that sit in the water. They rot and cloud the water, which clogs the stems.

What do I do when one flower wilts before the others?

Take it out. A dying flower speeds up the wilting of its neighbours. A bouquet trims down nicely: remove what's past its best and put the rest in a smaller vase.

What about plants?

The most common mistake is overwatering. Wait until the soil is dry to a depth of two centimetres before watering, and always empty the saucer.

A problem

The flowers arrived damaged.

Call us the same day at 514 725-2525, with a photo if possible. We'll replace the arrangement.

My order didn't arrive.

Call us. We'll track down the delivery with the driver and call you back with an answer the same day.

I gave the wrong address.

Let us know as soon as possible. Before the driver leaves, it's simple. After that, a second trip may be billed.

Can I get a refund?

Flowers are perishable and made to order, so they can't be returned. But if something goes wrong, call us: we always find a solution.
